Paola Mattioli è nata a Roma dove vive e lavora, si è laureata in scenografia presso L’Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma nel ’93.

Restauratrice di mobili e dipinti (Istituto Professionale di Restauro “Ars Labor” ’99) ha collaborato con la Sovrintendenza dei Beni Culturali e insegnato restauro ligneo nei corsi professionali della Regione Lazio.

L’amore per l’arte in tutte le sue forme l’ha condotta a creare gioielli utilizzando e sperimentando diversi materiali e tecniche quali Paste polimeriche, Wire, Beading, smalti fino ad incontrare l’Art Clay Siver, che insegna nel suo studio e in altri laboratori con i quali collabora da anni.

Insegnante certificata Art Clay Silver, fa parte del comunità Metal Clay Europe con la quale ama confrontarsi e misurarsi. Ha insegnato nelle più importanti manifestazioni dedicate alle arti creative quali Hobby Show e Arte e Mestieri. Con “Underwater Ring” ha ottenuto una menzione speciale partecipando al Metal Clay Europe Challenge, pubblicata poi nella rivista statunitense Art Clay Magazine nell’agosto del 2013.

Ad ottobre dello stesso anno l’anello “Germogli” viene esposto al Museo di Tokio e pubblicato nel Silver Accessories contest 2013, il catalogo di riferimento internazionale per gli artisti dell’Art Clay Silver.

Dal 2015 collabora per il portale internazionale e-learnig di riferimento per la creatività Craftartedu.com di Donna Kato e fa parte dello staff artistico scelto da Art Clay World Europe


Paola Mattioli was born in Rome where she lives and works, she has a degree in stage design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in 1993.

Restorer of antique furniture and paintings from 1999, she collaborated with the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage and taught professional courses in wood restoration in the Region of Lazio.

The love for art in all its forms has led her to create jewelry using and experimenting with different materials and techniques: Kato Polyclay, Wire, beading, enamels on metal foil and finally Art Clay, who teaches in her studio and at other laboratories collaborating with them for several years.

 Art Clay Silver certified teacher since 2012, is part of the Metal Clay community Europe with whom she loves to meet and compete. She has participated as a teacher at major italian events dedicated to the creative arts (Hobby Show, Arte e Mestieri). With "Underwater Ring" got a special mention by participating in the Metal Clay Challenge Europe, then published in the american magazine “Metal Clay Artist” in August of 2013. 

In October of the same year the ring "Germogli- shoots" is exhibited in the Museum of Tokyo and published in “Silver Accessories Contest 2013”, catalogue of international reference for  artists of  Art Clay Silver.

From 2015 is part of the teaching staff of the international web site US e-learning for creative art, CraftArtedu.com, and she is part of the artistic staff chosen by Art Clay World Europe
